Hampton Inn Lead

Hotel was awesome. Special shout out to the front desk person on 8/13/25. She was very accommodating with my elderly father. Rooms were immaculate, the whole hotel was to be honest. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Absolutely love everything about this hotel! The staff go WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND and the hotel is like new, clean and super comfy. The covered garage area is awesome and secure (with great easy spots for our trailer). And the location in Lead gets us out of the traffic and chaos. Special shout out to Jenny and Tina for being so nice when they found out it was my birthday (wine and flowers!). We have stayed here a lot in the past 2 years and have always had a positive experience. Would give 10 stars is possible!!!!

I stayed here from 12/31-1/4 and the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially around New Year's. The facilities were very clean and breakfast was a good, standard hotel hot breakfast. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby to play board games in the evening and drink the hot chocolate and tea provided. The fitness center was clean and had nice equipment available. At times the front desk was empty and had a sign to call a number for assistance, but someone was always present when we needed assistance. I will definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to anyone looking.

The only complaint was some what I hope were coffee stains on the bed spread. Still, it was great! The bathroom was good with an awesome shower. The hotel was (mostly) clean and modern with a comfortable bed, good TV, and great breakfast!

The hotel is fresh, vibrant, and very welcoming. I've never seen such great teamwork from a staff ...everyone works together so well, and it really shows. The complimentary breakfast is good, though it would be even better if the food variety could change every other day to keep it interesting. The laundry room is clean and convenient, but the pricing is a bit high...lowering the cost slightly would make it more guest-friendly. Also, if you're staying during the summer and your room A/C is preset, you can request to have it lowered... just something helpful to know ahead of time. Overall, a great stay!

This was our second hotel of our 9 city trip and were very happy that we chose to stay here. The city of Leads is a gem. Situated between Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, and Rapid City but with a smaller , quieter hometown feel. We were able to sit and walk outside. The rooms were clean, parking was nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given information about the area. Had no issues or anything negative with this stay and will stay again when in the area.

We stayed for four nights at the Hampton Inn in Lead, SD. We highly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is newer so the rooms felt fresh. We loved how quiet the room was since we have two kids that need to go to bed earlier. The breakfast was the best part. We had lots of options each day. My son enjoyed the waffle maker with the different flavor of waffles available each day. For sure would recommend staying.

Staff was absolutely amazing. They were extremely accommodating to us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone i know. Everything was clean and breakfast was delicious. American Legion Riders Post 289 was very pleased with our stay.
